Takeko “Keko” Gwynn brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to her work here at Restore. From a young age, Keko felt a calling to support and uplift others, a purpose that has shaped both her life and professional path. Her dedication to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges comes from a blend of academic training, lived experience, and a deep belief in the power of healing.

Keko earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Mary Baldwin University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. TaKeko is currently working as a Supervisee in Social Work under the supervision of Latonya Bolden, LCSW. Her education has provided a strong foundation in clinical practice, advocacy, and trauma-informed care, allowing her to support clients with both skill and empathy. She is also currently pursuing her 200-hour yoga teacher certification, with the intention of integrating mind-body awareness into her therapeutic work, honoring the belief that mental, emotional, and physical health are deeply connected.

Outside of her work, Keko enjoys spending quality time with her children, being in nature, and taking peaceful hikes. She also loves reading, painting, and cooking, finding creativity and restoration in the simple moments that bring joy, balance, and connection to everyday life.
