get to know James.
James Fields earned his Bachelor of Social Work from Liberty University, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to earn his Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with a 3.95 GPA. His professional experience has centered on supporting adolescents and young people through behavioral, emotional, social, and developmental challenges. James is currently a supervisee in social work and is being supervised by Daniel Brooks, LCSW.
For the past four years, James has worked with Motivate The Game, where he has provided mental health and cognitive-focused support to youth while also working within the school system. His experience includes working with adolescents struggling with emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, accountability, motivation, and interpersonal relationships. Through this work, he has developed a strong passion for building meaningful relationships with young people and helping them recognize their strengths while developing the skills necessary to navigate life’s challenges.
James is excited to begin this next chapter of his professional career with Restore Family Counseling, Inc. He is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue growing as a clinician, serve clients and families, and contribute to a team committed to helping individuals become the best versions of themselves.
