Robyn Flint is a passionate and dedicated mental health professional who is deeply committed to helping individuals in her community make positive changes in their lives. Robyn holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University. Currently, she is a Resident in Counseling, working toward her LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Virginia under the supervision of Dana McKenzie, LPC.
Her professional experience includes working with children and families in Therapeutic Foster Care as a Family Consultant and Parent Trainer, providing Outpatient Counseling to children and families, and serving as a Site Manager in charge of programs including Therapeutic Day Treatment services, Intensive In-Home, Outpatient Counseling, and Mental Health Skills Services. She earned the C.A.S.E. Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) certificate, allowing her to focus on adoption competent counseling and working with birth parents, adoptees, adoptive parents, and others within the adoption kinship.
Outside of her professional life, Robyn is a proud wife of 33+ years, mother to three grown sons, and MiMi to seven grandchildren. She is also a published author, a local real estate broker, and someone who loves to unwind with thrift shopping, 80’s hair band concerts, and playing with her grandkids.
